On Sunday, November 20th, Warner Ranch and Pumpkin Farm hosted the first StoryWalk® of the permanent collection at Niagara public libraries. The free event was organized by the Families are Strong, Stable and Connected Pillar of the Niagara Children’s Planning Council.

CogecoTV interviewed Lorrey Arial Bonilla and Laura Shtern to learn more about the Niagara StoryWalk® initiative and what National Child Day is all about. Watch the news coverage for this event here.

Over 150 children and their families enjoyed reading “Ask Me” and “Imagine un arbre” while walking through Warner Ranch, in addition to face painting, horse-drawn wagon rides, and crafts. StoryWalk® kits are now available for loan through http://nfpl.info/StoryWalk® and can be picked up at your local public library.
